How we make calls

If we called you, it was on behalf of a contractor you asked for an estimate. This page explains who we are and what happens next.

Why we called

A contractor who gave you an estimate asked us to close out their file — to find out whether you went ahead, hired someone else, or put the project off.

What we don't do

We don't sell anything.
We don't try to change a decision you've made.
We don't quote prices, negotiate, or discuss the details of your project.

If you'd like to talk to the contractor, we pass that along the same day. Otherwise the call ends there.

How we call

We say our name and which contractor we're calling for at the start of every call.
Calls come from the contractor's number, so you'll recognize who it's about.
Three attempts at most, then we stop.
Only between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM your local time.
We check numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry and our own list.
We don't send text messages.

If you'd rather we didn't call

Tell us on the call, or reach us using the details below, and we won't call you again — for that contractor or any other we work with.

Recording

If a call is recorded, we tell you at the start. If you'd prefer it wasn't, it won't be.

What happens to what you tell us

We report what you said about the estimate to that contractor. We also use answers with your name and details removed to understand, in general, how remodeling projects are won and lost. We never sell your information or add you to a marketing list. More in our privacy policy.
